Hold up, what are you talking about?
To specify, I’ve partnered with a very special friend, Bhavya Kamakolanu, to bring a story that has been a year in the works to life! As some of you may know, we used to seldom roleplay together virtually, and a world formed with every word we typed. The experience has been a wonderful change to my vocabulary, creativity, and overall storybuilding, and I am incredibly grateful to all the joy it has granted me. Simply put, this universe that’s been stuck inside of me has been longing to come out for a while now, and what better way to finally let it shine than create an animated series?
An Explanation
We’re directing a pilot episode to test the waters of what we’re capable of making, so it isn’t guaranteed that we’ll create an entire series. But we can’t do this alone. That’s why we’re turning to YOU, Gibbons, to let your talent be shown! We’re looking for people who are willing to lend their skills to make this vision happen, and even if you don’t think you fit any of the descriptions below, we still encourage you to contact us! Trust me, you’ll be surprised at the hidden side of you waiting to be seen.

We already have several positions filled up, but we always have room for more! Below, the roles are listed for you to look at how you can contribute to the episode. As a disclaimer, this is the first time I’m doing something like this, so I’m going to need all the help we can get!
What’s the pilot episode about?
The pilot episode mainly revolves around the introduction to the characters. The entire story, however, is about five characters who suddenly wake up to a whole new world, and are forced to find their way home. To do this, they have to learn to bond and grow relationships with the other characters to even have a chance of returning, and meet new people while traveling the dimensions. Unfortunately, we can’t fit the whole story into a single episode, so you’ll have to bear with us on this. But the pilot will focus on the creation of some of the “guides” that help lead the main characters closer and closer to their home, and then show the characters as their younger selves before this disaster occurs. Of course, if this succeeds, we’ll most likely remaster the pilot to render it differently according to the series’ plot.
The series is called “GUIDE”!
Further Context on the Characters and Story
[QUICK NOTE: The roleplay started with simply playing around with five characters from the object show BFDI on Youtube — But this turned out to be a lot more than a fanwork. So if this pilot episode succeeds, we will replace the main five with our original characters. The rest of the characters already in the pilot are completely our own.]
These main characters are known as Needle, Pin, Firey, Leafy, and Coiny. They look EXACTLY like what their name is [I would suggest you search their name, then the word ‘BFDI’ after it]! Needle (female) is more of an introverted, independent, and passionate character; Pin (female) is an ambiverted self-doubter, yet boldly likes to take on the leadership roles; Firey (male) is an omniverted, honest, and impulsive person; Leafy (female) is extroverted, demanding, and sensitive, while Coiny (male) is introverted, mischievous, and laidback (most of the time).
