Have you ever felt that excitement to read another book after you just finished one, but it is cut short because you don’t know which books are fun to read? Then this article is for you! In this article, it is given to you the summary of one of the best books out there.
In recent times I’ve read the book, The Inheritance Games, and by far it is in first place in my list of favorite books! This book is great for those who like mystery, romance, and action. The writing is very fascinating and mysterious, the plot is very interesting, and the development of the story is very intriguing. Never disappointing in enthralling the reader, this book unfortunately, but fortunately, leaves on a cliffhanger to be continued by the second and third books: The Hawthorne Legacy (2021), and The Final Gambit (2022) and also a standalone book that follows the events of the series called The Brothers Hawthorne (2023).
The Inheritance Games, written by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, is a book that is very absorbing, suspenseful, mysterious and agitated. This book is about a girl who became a billionaire overnight, but with the money, danger was on its way. Avery Grambs, an average girl, became a billionaire overnight after Tobbias Hawthorne died and left the massive sprawling Hawthorne mansion, and the sum of 46.2 billion dollars to her, but we all know that nothing in this world is free, so if that much money was left to her, something was to happen.
After receiving all that money, Avery became not only a target to the whole Hawthorne family, but for the media as well. She now has to face the media and the Hawthorne family that suspect she did something to their grandfather for him to leave all his money to her. But of course Tobbias would not make this easy for her, as he was known as the “puzzle master” so there was only one condition: she had to live in the Hawthorne mansion for 1 year! If she does not meet that goal all the money will be donated.
Will she make it? Will she be able to discover the reason behind all this? What will she do when the whole Hawthorne family hates her? What about the media? What is she gonna do about them? Those are all questions that really stick around while reading this book, but in the end, everything will go to its rightful place.
