In 2024 the fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A decided to add an article called “Our chicken commitment” to their company website. The article is basically about Chick-Fil-A changing their ways of taking care of their chicken. The change is going from no antibiotics at all (ever) to no antibiotics important to human medicine. This means that instead of killing or not using the sick chicken in their farms the farmers will use antibiotics to make the chicken or chickens “healthier”. This may seem like a good idea but the question is; why are they using the sick chicken in the first place? Sadly, Chick-Fil- A has confirmed in the same article that the change will start in the spring of 2024.
