The trees dance in the breeze
An unseen song sung to all
The melody of the birds
Fills the world between
The buzzing bees in flight
The dogs race, cheerful barks filling the air
The squirrels voyage into the trees
All creatures indulged in their own little world
A crisp breeze blesses the air
Cleansing the wind, this wonderful gift
Whiff of wonder we all are granted
This premium air is a present to us
Illuminating pinks, the deep-ocean blues, popping greens
A rainbow sketched across all life
Tie-dye glazes the sky
Tones of blue and white above
Our world is our canvas
This image we paint
Our original world like no other
We have the power to create
A lovely home shared with all
You provides for us
Asking for little in return
But we ignore your calls
Your warning calls telling us to stay safe
Your calls for help to stay
We receive your aid
But we never address
A spark hits
The canvas smothered with flames
The world incinerates around us
Colors light around us
Red, orange flames blaze with desire
Animals start hiding, hiding in fear
More are crying, crying with tears
Dying, lives cut short
Wish on surviving, as the ash-filled air enters their lungs
The trees once danced, now burn
Burn till they sway no more, fallen on the floor
Birds screech, screech with fear, with pain, with panic
Rainfall of birds on the ground, and the world wears the silence
Flowers once bloomed, once filled our world with color
Now hold on to hope, hope they survive
Hope they see light again
Holding onto a rope, using every bit of might
They hope we stop this panic outside
This panic we cause, this panic we wished against
We think we can do nothing
So we let them die, let them perish in their own home
A home is where you are supposed to feel safe
But how can they feel safe
When their own home is under attack
By the cruel forces of fire, the cruel forces we caused
We brought this upon us
On the birds who did no wrong
The lively creatures of the earth
The dogs, a man’s best friend all gone
The trees, the plants, the birds, the bees
All who gave us life, who made life worth living
Food, water, shelter, we asked for it all
And we took advantage and stabbed you with a knife
The world has a process, a process it stands by
We have disturbed it, but it tried to be flexible
Eventually the world caved in
‘Til the pressure set it all lit
We spend so much time
Time to save the trees
Our trees, our plants, our birds
All these different breeds
But the fire is etched in time
We try to calm it down, put it in a state of tranquility
And even once the earth isn’t mad anymore
The irreversible damage is done
I hope this world will stop burning
This world we drew with our own hands, our own life
But fire is invincible
It will burn through
Through all the life
It is merciless
Caring less about who is damaged
But we cause it, we cause this madness
We are the end
The end of all life
We put out the fires
But more will ignite
